Stuxnet-Cyber Warfare-To End All Wars: Peace.

There never will be an exact day and date, to identify and track, the first glimmering of cyber-warfare-now frequently referred to as: Stuxnet. The Stuxnet worm, was not discovered, until: 2010-at that time, various computing systems, that were conveying a malware message-were shut down-it was already too late (Demchak , 2012, p. 125). The Stuxnet worm, was engineered-to have a half-life, of its own. The malicious worm spread, false coding communicators, for years-before it was discovered-only to wait dormant and hidden, in the very furthest recesses, of a hard drive-and then, to jump into action.

Cyber-terrorism is often thought of, as a minor non-player role, in an overall world conflict. The most, cyber-warfare typically causes-is an interrupted service message: DDOS (Andres, 2012, p. 99). Interrupted website services, can be a serious inconvenience-however, the tertiary effects of which, are not literally offensive actions, of military might-that could cause some serious physical harm. Generally speaking, cyber-ware, and cyber-terrorism, are not taken that seriously. The Internet, is governed-by almost no legal rules, and much of what occurs online-can be anonymous.

America, and Israel, took credit for the Stuxnet malware-that imploded an Iranian nuclear reactor. Damages caused-predicted, that Iran's new nuclear program, would be set back, by at least 3 years. China-also took credit, for the devestating explosion, that Stuxnet caused, at the Iranian nuclear plant-it was in fact, a Chinese American, who designed the complicated, time delayed-malicious worm. There was a consensus, between: the US, Israel, and China-that, Iran, is not responsible or friendly enough, to be trusted to handle and operate nuclear weapons, in a safe and responsible way.

There were no remedial actions, taken by: the US, Israel, or China initially. Then, Iran demanded-during the Obama Administration, that they receive funding and favoritism, from the US-to rebuild, their broken nuclear program. While Obama, was publically-in favor of removing US sanctions against Iran, and providing funding for a nuclear program there-I personally objected. In my opinion-politics in Iran, had not changed enough. It is clear to me, that the US and Iran-are not allies. It was too unwise, for Obama to consider reinstating nuclear programs, in Iran-the US, should never pay for that type of: MAD (Massive Assured Destruction), program (Fidler, 2012, p. 73).
